The Army have been taking part in Breakthrough Breast Cancer?s Great Pink Bake Off.

Soldiers from 20 Transport Squadron Royal Logistic Corps have been taking part in Breakthrough Breast Cancer?s Great Pink Bake Off at Regents Park Barracks.

The Officer Commanding 20 Transport Squadron, Major P J Ritchie said:-

?The soldiers had a great time getting stuck in to the bake off and in particular demonstrating creative flair, decorating the cakes with some surprisingly artistic results!

Eating the results was an added and welcome bonus.

More importantly, we were pleased to be able to raise money to help this great charity Breakthrough Breast Cancer in their hugely important work tackling a disease that affects so many lives?.

Sian Fraser, Head Baker for Breakthrough Breast Cancer?s Great Pink Bake Off, said:

?We want to say a huge thank you to the Regents Park Barracks and everyone who supported their fantastic Great Pink Bake Off event.

The money raised will help us take vital steps towards our vision of a world freed from breast cancer. It was great having the British Army baking the bake off and I hope more will join in the fun again next year!?
