With the Guards Battalions busy overseas on operations or training for future contingencies, the privlege of providing The Queen's Guard has been extended to the Royal Navy.
The 104 officers and ratings, having undergone weeks of ceremonial training, started Public Duties on Monday 25 November at Buckingham Palace.
The sailors you see on duty have been drawn from the Surface Fleet, Submarine Service and Fleet Air Arm and throughout the time they are on Public Duties will be supported by musicians from Royal Marine Bands
